Thank you to everyone who attended our #MenLeanIn event. The event sold out in under a week- we’re proud to say this is a new record for Lean In Canada!
The event kicked off with a fantastic surprise for those in attendance; Lean In Canada was proud to receive a personalized video greeting from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau thanking Lean In for promoting gender equality and to the men on the panel for their efforts to empower women. He encourages women and men to Lean In together to create an equal Canada.
We then heard from our remarkable #MenLeanIn panel, who take it upon themselves to Lean In and encourage others around them to Lean In too. Thank you Paul Clark, Executive Vice-President of Specialized Commercial Banking at TD, Andrew Kirby, Vice-President of SapientNitro, Andrew MacDougall, Partner at Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt LLP, and Scott Schieman, Canada Research Chair, Professor and Chair of the Sociology Department at the University of Toronto.
