Toronto – Come Meet the Trailblazing Women of STEM
Arcadian Court
September 26, 2017Lean In Canada invites you to get to know the women who are at the forefront of STEM – science, technology, engineering and mathematics. When it comes to the sciences, women tend to choose professions more focused on life sciences and social sciences, so there is a wide gender gap in fields such as computer science and engineering. Our panel of women in STEM will be discussing what the past has been and what the future can look like for STEM if we encourage more diverse involvement in this area. So, join us as we bring together a panel of women to discuss the need for promoting women’s education and career growth in STEM. Our panel includes Dr. Imogen Coe, Tamar Huggins, Inmar Givoni, Dr. Eugenia Duodu and Atanaska Novakova. These women come from a variety of backgrounds and we look forward to hearing their candid opinions and stories.
We are relocating to Arcadian Court for this exciting event to ensure we can make more room for everyone to attend. We’d like to thank our lead event sponsor TD Bank Financial Group for making this possible as this is sure to be a great, thought-provoking discussion.
