Toronto: A Primer on Effective Negotiation

Good negotiators are not just born – they can be made!

This month Lean In Canada is joined by Ivey Business School Professor Ann Frost to tackle the topic of negotiation within the workplace.  In this interactive session with Ann, we will recognize the ubiquity of negotiations and put some basic models of practice into place using a live simulation.  Come prepared to negotiate!  We’ll discuss tactics, strategies and general best practices to help you become a more effective negotiator.

Ann has a very impressive academic history with a list of incredible achievements along the way.  Her specific research interests include workplace restructuring and high performance in the workplace. Her work has been funded by the Russel Sage and Rockefeller Foundations as well as the SSHRC.
