VANCOUVER: Doing Your Part to Create Inclusive Workplaces & Communities

Lean In Canada’s Vancouver Chapter welcomes Manpreet Dhillon, Founder/CEO of Veza Global, to lead the discussion on how one can create inclusive workplaces and communities. The anti-racist movement is important as it impacts all of us – either directly or indirectly. This is the time many of us are called to step up and support members of our community in some way. In order to do our part, we need to create inclusive environments so others can feel safe and feel that they belong. In this intimate discussion we will ponder on the following questions:

• What does it mean to be an ally?
• What does inclusive communication look like?
• How can we use emotion to create change?
• What are the best ways to educate yourself while learning from underrepresented groups?
