Kristina Martin - Lean in Canada

Kristina is the President and Founder of Kit PR, a boutique public and government relations consulting firm. A nationally recognized government relations and communications leader, Kristina is known as a natural connector driven by breaking down barriers and building trust between the public and private sector and media. From securing millions of dollars in federal and provincial funding, to landing front pages of national newspapers and magazines for her clients, Kristina brings a wealth of experience and success for clients of all sizes and industries to draw from.

Before launching her own firm, Kristina spent her career in public affairs advising clients across sectors including housing, science and technology, cannabis, media, manufacturing, supply chain, and pharmaceuticals. She has also served as Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Canada’s largest science and technology skills training organization, Actua. 

When she’s not at Kit, Kristina serves as the Chair of the Canadian Advocacy Network, a network of volunteers providing pro bono public affairs services to organizations in need. She is also a past President of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Ottawa Board of Directors.

Kristina holds a B.A. in Political Science, an MSc. Strategic Public Relations and Communication Management, as well as a Master’s in Political Management.
