Lewisa Anciano leads the People and Culture function as Vice-President of Global Human Resources for PaybyPhone, owned by Volkswagen Financial Services AG and Volkswagen AG, the world’s largest automaker. She is responsible for HR teams in Germany, United Kingdom, France, Canada and works with employees based in 12 countries in Europe and North America. Lewisa oversees talent, culture transformation, organizational renewal and design in the integration with PBP’s German subsidiary, Sunhill Technologies GmbH, to achieve M&A transaction objectives and align synergies.
Between 2017 and 2020, she was a management consultant for a broad range of industries including mobile payments, fuel cell technology, medical technology, telecommunications, shipping, healthcare, retail, financial services, manufacturing, hospitality and post-secondary education. In 2018, she supported a publicly traded technology company’s board of directors with assembling a team of experts, recruiting new board members and program management to win a proxy battle.
Recipient of the 2015 CPHR Human Resource Professional of the Year Award, she has enjoyed a multi-faceted career beyond HR with other award-winning organizations, in the areas of strategic planning, innovation management, corporate communications, compliance, organizational effectiveness, process transformations, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Lewisa currently serves as the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Human Resources programs at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
